Once the finest accommodation in Villach, the Parkhotel closed its doors in 1989. In close cooperation with the monument protection office, in 1994 it was finally renovated and reopened as an event location. During the revitalization process, old pictures were found that showed, among other things, the original lighting. We were then commissioned to reconstruct the chandeliers based on these images. They are typical of the Jugendstil period of circa 1910, with a polished brass finish and opaque glass lampshades. A unique feature of the chandeliers is their artfully polished light shell, a stylistic reference to the Empire period in the early nineteenth century. Today, the chandeliers create a perfect contrast to the modern technical installations of the new event halls.
