A vase with a bell-shaped body and a massive cut base. This cut, which is characteristic for Hoffmann, is polished carefully by hand to keep the edges crisp.
Michael Powolny designed the decoration with the putti for copper wheel engraving. The piece was first presented at the 1914 Werkbund exhibition in Cologne; later on, it was sold at the stores of the Wiener Werkstätte.
