The interior of The London Hotel in New York was designed in 2007 by the London-based David Collins Design Studio. A chandelier model was chosen that David Collins and Lobmeyr had developed together the previous year for a villa on the Côte d’Azur. These lights were now placed in the dining area of the spacious penthouse suites. The central element of the contemporary design is a structure made of squared brass tubes. After experimentation, our crafters were able to complete the project with no visible screws or locking bolts, all of which are elegantly hidden within the structural body. The original 13-bulb design combines a nickel-plated body with smoked glass lampshades. We also offer bespoke versions with, for example, antique or polished brass with copper accents and a small selection of alternate glass colours. The David Collins chandelier is available in sizes from 60 to 150 centimetres.
